ASECRETDEATH Signs With TRIBUNAL RECORDS

February 10, 2009

Australia's ASECRETDEATH has inked a deal with Tribunal Records. The band's self-titled debut was mixed and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (drummer and producer of the critically acclaimed Swedish act CULT OF LUNA) at Tonetknik Recording in Umeå, Sweden and is scheduled for release on March 10. The band will also contribute its newly recorded version of PINK FLOYD's "Welcome To The Machine" to the "Tribunal Records 100: We Gotcha Covered" release this summer.

From its humble beginnings as an up and coming Queensland band, ASECRETDEATH has always been inspired to write timeless and eclectic music. Priding themselves on harnessing and crafting songs with emotion, the group's members have blended dark, expansive and metallic elements to develop their own definitive and unique soundscape.

Hailing from the unsuspecting sunny grounds of The Gold Coast, ASECRETDEATH wowed fans critics alike when its second EP, "Fear Is The Driving Force" (included as CD-only bonus tracks) was unleashed to a wealth of salivating fans in 2005. On the back of their frenetic and skillful live show, the group then gained notoriety through diverse national tours and multiple international supports, including THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SICK OF IT ALL, EVERY TIME I DIE, NORMA, JEAN, CONVERGE, STORY OF THE YEAR, UNEARTH, DARKEST HOUR, STRIKE ANYWHERE, THE BLED, FROM AUTUM TO ASHES, ATREYU, EVERGREEN TERRACE, CLUTCH, SHAI HULUD, EIGHTEEN VISIONS and BOYSETSFIRE.
